Tough choices...

My morning had two highlights: a $50 fill up at the Sunoco, and a daughter that staged an impromptu sit-in at the front of the daycare, effectively preventing other parents and kids from entering the building for 5 minutes as I "negotiated" with her. What drove the gas prices to such heights involves several factors of which I am not an expert, but I can say with some confidence that Mickie's act of civil disobedience was caused by a carefully rolled up blanket that I carelessly threw over my shoulder getting out of the car. After seeing this picture online, I paused to consider whether my next trip to the Sunoco would involve handing them a 4 year old and running. Probably not.

Now, if it ever hits 4 bucks a gallon...
