At Moanaloa Gardens, I was beginning to doubt my ability to "provide for the family", which was especially disconcerting given that there were so many tilapia (fish) in the stream. My efforts to catch one that could (theoritically) provide some form of sustinance were in vain until I laid a cunning trap of placing the aquarium net along a shallow section of the stream that the larger (greater than 1 inch) tilapia were using as an escape route. Caught on film (digital media?) here is the moment of exhaultation following a successful "hunt". It was about 4 inches long and probably one of the dumber fish in the stream, but it didn't matter. My family would eat that day.
